COMPOSER

Alex began to compose music at the age of 15 in Russia. While studying at the Institute of Arts, he attended composition classes. After graduation, he continued to compose, performing his classical-style compositions at concerts.

- For me, composition is a natural continuance of performance. Music is the world we living in. We listen and perform a large number of works, and all of them remain to live in us. It is completely natural that, absorbing so much music from the outside, we begin “little to little” to make music from inside.

In 2004, Alex became a Prizewinner in the nomination "Composition" at the IX International Music Festival-competition "Hopes, Talents, Masters" (Bulgaria), for composing the cycle of romances and Poem for flute.

Member of the All-Russia Composers Association since 2009.

Since 2010, Alex also works as a film composer.

- I always wanted to compose music for films and theatrical performances. I like to convey and amplify action that is happening on the screen with the help of musical sounds. Music is as important in a film as directing or acting. Cinema is a “synthesis of arts", and all of its components have to complement each other. This is exactly the composer's responsibility, because music should be an organic part of the film. Working in the soundtrack genre is always a challenge, because you need to create a finished composition while being in strict timing, where the change of mood should correspond to every movement on the screen. Also I always wanted to be part of something special, some kind of magic. From the very childhood, cinema attracted me with that “magic”.

Since 2012, Alex has been working in the USA as a composer and arranger . He opened his company “Tyfer Music Corp.”, which includes “Tyfer Music Studio”, and “Tyfer Music Publishing”.
